I need a passage where surrealism is shown, does anyone know a part in the book where there is surrealism?
i read the book people, i just dont understand exactly what surrealism is

The whole book is surrealism. Most of what Kafka wrote is surrealistic. Surrealism basically means bizarre and if you read METAMORPOHSIS and don’t find it bizarre, you, yourself, are bizarre. You need to read more of Kafka to get the true feeling of him. I would suggest that you read THE CASTLE and THE TRIAL, but there is a seldom printed short story entitled in German EIN ALTES BLATT which can mean an old manuscript, an old page, an old story to truly get your shoes knocked off. Today it is as important as it was in the 20s when Kafka was writing. You figure it out.
