The film is trashy camp–a extraordinary genre of film for the freaks of the world. The dialouge is burly on cheese, considerable of it pays hommage to films of the past, a factual camp marker. The makeup and costumes are astounding, with RuPaul and cast wearing each with ease.
It’s hard to disect this film, and it’s significant un-reviewable. It’s stout of sex, violence, and is not generous for the faint of heart. “Starrbooty” is also essentially gratified cinema but hopefully out hetero counterparts will secure some sense of humor in this camp coated masterpiece.
Hilarious and filled with tacky fun this movie is a suited time advantageous time. When I saw this at a film festival I was not expecting a well-behaved movie but I was blown away by their notice of humor, it worked. Fancy how the whole cast makes fun of everything including themselves. Admire the air of innocence the movie has even though the actor(s) were not acting innocently there is something cute and cuddly about the movie after leaving I felt like I objective saw THE GOONIES for the first time kind of reminiscent. This made me wonder why life is not simple and fun at the same time, who cares if people procure offended. Also Rupaul looks shapely as always.
