This movie is not a expansive movie, but it’s one of those “period pieces” that takes you abet to what was frigid, and in style during the mid to unhurried 50s. When movies like this were released, they were released to develop on the most original fad. Like I said, it’s not a tremendous movie. Other similar movies of the time produced by Alan Freed are better, but if you’re a fan of early rock and roll, you must view it. Oh, and the dancing by Kay Wheeler – it stupefied me!
The best thing about this DVD is hands down, Kay Wheeler. Her fantastic dance at the climax of the film is worth the sign of admission alone. And where else are you gonna survey the tremendous Johnny Carroll invent “Wild Wild Women”?
