Stephanie Zimbalist comes out of the woodwork to star in this movie that was inspired by a factual memoir. I can bet a lot of it was fabricated, but am obvious the gist of what happened is right. It is scary in this day & age to mediate of an American prison being so horrible as this one is portrayed, but it is not beyond opinion.

Zimbalist plays an everyday mother who inadvertantly breaks the law & is sent to prison. While there she is exposed to all sorts of horrifying practices of prison guards abusing their power & state. At every turn, her attempts to be proactive about the set fail.
While most movies that deal with women in prison are of the softcore porn variety, rest yell this movie is VERY serious. I would even go so far to say as it’s the women’s prison counterpart to SHAWSHENK REDEMPTION. If you’re fervent in prison movies at all, this one is a must-have.
This movie kept my attention throughout. It’s about a woman who tried to attach her employer as well as herself a minute money on some business deals and she injure up in prison. While there, she encountered practically every sterotype known to mankind and then some. I would recommend that you gawk it for yourself.
