Please price that this is a review mainly about the packaging of the discs and the special features. While I don’t intend on saying too remarkable about the seventh season itself, I will say that it was far worthy to a unpleasant season six. Also, if you are reading this, I can only choose that you’ve seen the seventh season and are contemplating on whether or not to purchase this season on DVD.

To initiate with, this is by far the best packaging I’ve ever seen for a series placed on DVD. They managed to pack six discs into a case the size of your normal DVD case complete with a plod mask. Now I know what you’re thinking: “How’d they catch six discs into a case that thin? ” and “What happened to the seventh disc containing all the bonus features? ”
To retort the first query, the inside of the front of the case and the inside of the support of the case each possess one disc with a tab through the center circle of the disc. The other four discs are attached via two plastic dividers with one disc on each side of the first and one disc on each side of the second, all held in station with tabs through the center circle like the others.

To acknowledge the second examine, I really don’t assume it needs a seventh bonus disc. Regarding the commentary on disc one, it is simply phenomenal. Carlos Bernard is so fun to listen to and I contemplate it some of the best commentary from any season of 24. Regarding the bonus feature, you’ll probably bask in it if you bask in the musical acquire from the present. Sean Callery is a genius!

Again, the commentary with both Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Ike Dubaku) and Tony Todd (General Juma) is fun to listen to. I always savor listening to the poor guys provide commentary because you acquire the impression that these are generally nice, proper people as opposed to the characters they describe.

24-7: The Untold Story
I beget the bonus features and especially episode commentary are nicely done even if watched only once out of curiosity. (I judge, to date, the only bonus feature I’ve watched literally hundreds of times was the 100th Episode Reel from season five’s bonus disc.) Most people will probably bewitch this DVD for the season itself and if that’s the case, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the packing job. However, if you’re buying the seventh season on DVD, you’re probably a diehard fan and intend on watching the extra bellow as well.
While the bonus stuff is nice, I do consider it lacked somewhat as I gain they could have added maybe one more feature to one of the three discs that lacked extra lisp. My other disappointment was that it doesn’t provide a list of the modern airdates like past 24 season DVD releases nor does it include the episode synopsis for each episode. That aside, the packaging presentation is wonderfully plan out and this will definitely construct a nice compact addition to your 24 collection.
Just got finished watching this on TV and yes I am one of those “lifeless people” who will go out and select this tomorrow. And I will contemplate it again as soon as I do because that’s fair how grand this expose really is. I cant understand why people who are supposed to be such tall fans of the expose are actually exasperated they are releasing the dvd early. Wouldn’t that be what you want?
But anyway…on to the present….
24 Season 7 will go down as one of the premiere seasons in the shows history. Maybe, from originate to do, the best since Season 1. After a lackluster Season 6, I deem it was agreeable to say that the writers and producers of the demonstrate had a determined opportunity to inaugurate over and open modern. And they did. What we got was a knowing, tight, and extraordinarily acted season with the same raging action and space twists but peaceful with a different feel to it. By relocating out of L.A and into D.C. we got the chance to view Jack Bauer out of his element for the first time. At first I was skeptical of this, as many were. But after the first episode of the season I realized that my skepticism was for nothing. The travel to D.C. was perfect and it brought so mighty to this season. And as we progressed from twist to twist, from villain to villain, the one thing that stayed apparent was that this season was absolutely sparkling. Nothing will ever compare to the originality of Season 1. And the show’s creators know that. But they weren’t trying to replicate that. Instead they were trying to bring us a season that we will remember, instead of tossing away like we did with season 6. Season 7 was a triumph and it’s unprejudiced another example of why we preserve watching.
