Let me open this review by saying one thing, The Day After Tomorrow is an suited movie. I loved it. The special effects were outstanding. It’s ample fun for a date movie.

But,….trying to choose this movie seriously is actually hard. The record revolving around global warming and the world being hit hard within a week is a bit too hard to swallow. Too, there’s objective some things in the movie that I impartial don’t contemplate happening quite the same intention if they were to happen in genuine life. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t select the threat of global warming seriously but the arrangement it is presented in this movie is ridiculous. If the writer of the film took more time to research the material on global warming, I judge he(and Roland Emmerich) could have made an even better film. As noteworthy as I treasure difficulty flicks(having mild the majority of them that has near out in new memory), I really don’t know if I could recommend this one for people to consume.

The majority of this deluxe boxed dwelling is devoted to early calm films. I do not reflect myself a particular fan of calm films, and yet most of these I found to be amazing. While the four feature films were magnificent, I especially enjoyed the shorts, which commonly assume everyday life at the turn of the century. These silents have a spirit of joy and excitement, and a marvelous sincerity, that I’ve never seen in film before. With only a few exceptions, these silents are in an genuine location of preservation, often offering an amazingly determined window on the past. The main exception is an early version of “Snow White,” the one that inspired the renowned Disney version. All copies were once believed lost; however, a below-average quality but tranquil quite watchable print was found only a few years ago. The musical accompaniment, custom produced for these DVDs, adds immeasurably to the experience. These silents are highly recommended to anyone keen in the history of film or history in general. I am unaware of any other source of mute shorts on DVD, certainly not of this quality or extent.

Besides the silents, the space also offers several other categories of films, including those produced for the government, commercial and promotional films, home movies, and art shorts. These are generally oldish but not antique, none more fresh than 1985. The offerings in the last three categories are generally obsolete. The art shorts, especially, with their emphasis on the abstract and new, had shrimp appeal for me. Even though many of them are relatively new, they have been rarely shown, and with profitable reason. The sizable surprise is the quality of the government films, especially “The Battle of San Pietro,” directed by John Huston, a factual work of art, and one of the finest pieces in the region. Even “We Work Again,” with its humdrum script intended to convince blacks of the benefits of government assistance during the depression, features pleasing cinematography, unfortunately uncredited, and ends with four minutes from a famed Orson Welle’s adaptation of a Shakespeare play, of which no other footage exists.

Each disc is arranged in roughly chronological order, taking viewers on four trips through time, from the 1890′s to the current age. The site includes a 130 page booklet describing each film; these descriptions also appear on the DVDs themselves. The menus on the DVDs are professional, delicate, and easy-to-navigate. The transfers to DVD are kindly, with no digital artifacts that I could study.

This place could easily have been dry and academic. Instead, at its best, it’s extremely consuming, spirited, and expressive of the past. The commentary could have condemned the past in light of today’s viewpoints and ideologies; instead, with unexpectedly rare exceptions, its attractive and informative. This place should have colossal appeal for those willing to adjust to the limitations of early film technology. Overall, I cannot recommend this plot highly enough.

I had high hopes for this space, and it actually surpassed my expectations. I worked in a film archive for 10 years and have seen a lot of movies, but quite a few of the items in this situation were current to me; others were frail favorites that have never been widely available before now, like Joseph Cornell’s delicate and goofy Rose Hobart. Sometimes the attempt to record the mountainous range of material preserved in American archives starts to feel a minute strained, but the noteworthy freshness of so many of these films–especially the more ephemeral shorts–overcomes any sense of historical tokenism. The accompanying book is far honorable to the average DVD liner notes, providing scholarly and informative program notes by Scott Simmon along with background information on the preservation of each film & explanations of the musical accompaniment for the mute titles. Overall I found this plot not only praiseworthy but highly entertaining–only the “about the archives” essays narrated by Laurence Fishburne are tinged with institutional dullness. Assume the situation now–if it goes out of print (and I apprehension this is fair the kind of “specialty” item that won’t discontinue in print very long), you’ll regret not owning it.

We’ve watched many Holocaust films & documentaries and read hundreds of stories regarding this horrific time in our world’s history. It is a delight when a historical allotment comes alive that is enthralling in this blueprint — documenting how a village, teachers, and a kind-hearted man got together to set Jewish children needing refuge in a location they could call home for a while. There are no graphic scenes nor specific verbal descriptions of what happened to people in the concentration camps, so this is really a film you can section with people of any age. In other words, this would be lovely to demonstrate in schools because of its accuracy and forwardness, yet there’s a definite care taken to not horrify a viewer with graphic images or depictions of violence.

Excellent documentary coverage of a tiny slash of WWII. The Jewish children, separated from their families, gathered at Chabannes in France with hopes of evading the German death camps. The caretakers provided schooling and an almost normal life as the threat of extermination came closer and closer to the 400 children at Chabannes, a runt French village.

The interviews with the survivors, including the teachers, gives a fine report of the life there. The many photos and written accounts round out the documentary. Very well done!

Girlhood is available for streaming or downloading.

The title of Liz Garbus’s smart film contains an irony. “Girlhood” conveys images of fluffy dresses, teddybears, and innocent first dates.

But Girlhood’s two protagonists, Shanae and Megan, lose their girlhood, spending teen years locked up or (in Megan’s case) in foster homes. Their “girlhood” is about drug-addiction, crimes, getting locked up and trying to bag out. They impart about degrees of assault as calmly as their suburban contemporaries might drawl of varsity and junior varsity cheering squads.

The success of Girlhood comes from Garbus’s ability to transform our image of these girls from “juvenile delinquents’ to complex young women, products of their environment as well as their bear choices. We peer how the system fails these young women, but to her credit, Garbus does not dwell on larger “society” topics. Instead, she focuses on the individuals and the impact of institutions comes through loud and obvious.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Girlhood! Click Here

Shanae’s family was bright and supportive, although her mother had to work long hours to succor the family. Inevitably Shanae got into pain on the streets. I’m reminded of a segment in Bowling for Columbine: The mother of a child who brought a gun to school, killing a young girl, worked seventy hours a week and level-headed couldn’t manufacture ends meet.

Shanae is easier to like, with a natural charisma. She’s deliver and poised. You can feel her strength as she sits silently during “meetings,” patiently listening while she’s discussed in the third person. T

he scene of Shanae getting ready for a prom is triumphant and also curious, as we realize what it cost her to execute her goal. She graduated fourth in her high school class, in a year that saw her released from juvenile hall and losing a mother to heart disease — a failure of our health care system. I hope she achieves her dream of law school.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Girlhood! Click Here

Megan, as knowing as Shanae, continues to be apprehensive by the heritage of a mother who keeps returning to prison for drug-related crimes. She’s almost a stereotype: raised in foster homes, bipolar, lacking role models outside the juvenile home. Yet as the film shows, she’s also a original individual who’s surviving and staying out of jail.

In a arrangement, these girls were lucky. Their juvenile home must be a model of its kind. Staff were tough but concerned and the girls had teddy bears. Shanae had room to grow and Megan … well, Megan could go her absorb plan.

After reading the dust jacket of this video, I was troubled the film, especially the ending, would be depressing. It wasn’t. If anything, Girlhood shows how Megan and Shanae transcend their environments. And an investment in humane institutions can pay mountainous dividends. Not quite uplifting but definitely hopeful.

Documentaries are truly becoming the most engaging cinematic spectacles. From Hoop Dreams to Bowling for Columbine and now Girlhood, documentaries are capturing the brutal honesty of our fresh culture.

Girlhood is a emotionally devestating glimpse into the lives of two young girls Shanae and Meghan who traipse through the juvenile detention center in Baltimore and their outside struggles at home. It is a memoir of lost innocence, deferred dreams, wretchedness, and torment, family disconnection and instability but in fragmented moments there are also elements of hope. We truly grow to feel for these girls and occupy a leer into their turbulent, ever changing lives.

Shanae is level-headed attractive and yelp and is serving time for stabbing a girl to death. Meghan is an outspoken live-wire but honest as lustrous, talented, and state, is serving time for assault. Through the separate journeys of these young women we witness the harsh realities of inner city life and how it attempts to breaks the spirits of its daughters.

You will remember these girls long after the credits have rolled. You will be captivated by their legend, their struggles, their strength, and their constant ability to continue to endure.

Its saddening to know that so many of our young girls face such profound sufferance but its astounding to also peer how strong they remain and how certain they are to survive to thunder their stories–by any means critical.

Just about anybody reading this review has probably seen “This is Spinal Tap” as many times as the band has changed drummers. What you really want to know is whether the DVD extras are worth the designate. YES. Theatrical trailers about cheese rolling festivals, David St. Hubbins with strait hair in an early short that eventually evolved into the film, Seize Reiner begging people to display the movie in their theaters, deleted scenes that earn and account for the frosty sores the band keeps ending up with, and the bloody demise of Janine (well, we can dream can’t we? ) all this and more can be yours for the vulgar grievous ticket of…whatever. Anyway, if you’re a Tap fan and you’ve got a DVD player, obtain this disc. If you’re a Tap fan and you’ve got this disc, earn a DVD player. If you’re a Tap fan without the disc or a DVD player, talk your rich buddy with all the chilly home theater equipment into buying this disc, then eye it at his area and eat all the potato chips in the house. If you’re not a Tap fan, you can collect a copy of “The Sound of Music” around here somewhere, I’m graceful definite. I’ve always belief of Derrick Smalls as kind of a short hairy version of Julie Andrews anyway.

Superb (m/r) ockumentary of the semi-fictitious band “Spinal Tap”, made up of Michael McKean (“Lenny”, soul mate of Squigy, on the TV series “Laverne & Shirley”), Christopher Guest (actor/director of “Waiting for Guffman”), Harry Shearer (performs voices of 22 different characters on “The Simpsons”), and a random selection of ever-changing drummers. The movie is a tongue-in-cheek parody of washed-up hard rock bands that unexcited mediate they are God’s gift to the universe. The inspired idiocy borders on genius at times, lending weight to Michael’s observation that there is a “ravishing line between slow and clever”.

The DVD is simply improbable. For starters, everything is in character. From the style of the main menu title hide, to the menu voice-overs by the band, and extending through all of the extra material included on the DVD, the personas of the band (and the fictitious director as well) are maintained with perfect consistency.

What makes this all the more astounding is the shear quantity of extras on the disk. For starters, there is about an hour of “deleted” scenes provided. In addition, there are numerous music videos, TV commercials (untrue I presume??? ), and trailers. And as if that weren’t enough, there is also a commentary track throughout the entire film with the band members, completely in character, being as hilariously idiotic as they are in the film. The Spinal Tap commentary track is easily the most absorbing commentary in my extensive DVD library.

Buy,Download, Or Stream This Is Spinal Tap! Click Here

The DVD medium is achieve to pleasing consume as well. Menu transitions are computer animations inspired by some of the film’s funniest moments. Each menu plays a different “Tap” song, giving you access to a decent percentage of the sound track. And, honest as importantly, the animations are not overdone; the menus are calm easy to expend, and the transitions only catch a few seconds.

Overall, this DVD is a gigantic value, and provides a immense amount of material not available in the VHS version. If you are a Tap fan, or would like to be, you NEED this DVD!

Whether you brand this film as a dusky comedy or as a sad familial drama with bits of comedy thrown in, Comic BONES is a brilliantly unlit masterpiece containing first rate acting performances by all of the principals, and especially Lee Evans (There’s Something About Mary, Mousehunt) . In fact, it is Lee Evans who super-charges this movie with his complex and outrageously humorous portrayal of the skittish funny genius Jack Parker.

The supporting cast, including the sparkling Jerry Lewis, Leslie Caron, George Carl, and Oliver Reed, all offer strong performances as does Oliver Platt, playing the failed humorous Tommy Fawkes, who goes assist to the Blackpool, England of his early youth in search of the secrets of comedy. He will eventually expose many of these secrets, as well as some shadowy family secrets he didn’t anticipate finding. Lewis plays a supporting role as Tommy’s father, a superstar comical who rules the Las Vegas strip and overshadows his son.

The quirky citizens of Blackpool, including the aforementioned Jack Parker, add charm, comedy, and warmth to this film. At times disturbing, heartbreaking, suspenseful, and hysterical, Comical BONES is an strange exiguous film, but one that lends itself to many viewings.

I review very few films, but feel compelled to recommend Humorous BONES since few people seem to have seen it and because it is one of my popular films of all time.

Jeremy W. Forstadt

Funny Bones is a hilarious dismal comedy that got overlooked because it is too quick-witted and multi-faceted for easy categorization. Admittedly the film has flaws. The Vegas-Blackpool connection is something of a kluge, and the Parker Brothers vaudeville act is a far wail from the Tommy Fawkes – two dogs slide into a bar – style of comedy that begins the movie. The sub-plot of stolen life-preserving powder, harmful policemen, and French-Egyptians is a distraction at best, although the severed feet do provide a sparkling “running” gag. But these criticisms are trivial when compared to what the movie gets proper.

First, it totally understands the relationship between humor and distress, and gives an just and sympathetic idea of this bond, a bond that is closer than liver and onions, corned beef and cabbage, wang and chung. Next it features some factual comedy genius, primarily thanks to Lee Evans as a semi-autistic virtual mime who is as droll in his interactions with a police psychologist as he is on stage in his one-man radio-riffing manic extravaganza. Those few minutes alone are worth the impress of the movie, as is the scene where he and Platt sneak into the mortuary to retrieve the severed feet. Evans, Jack, has cleverly decided to stash the feet in a ski-boot case, and, to complete his disguise, carries a pair of skis with him. Priceless.

Equally inspired are the scenes where assorted Blackpool entertainers audition, (you’ll replay this many times), and when we finally acquire to peruse the Parker Brothers do their renowned act – vaudeville at its very best. That the Parker Brothers live inside a roller coaster and derive their living as human mannequins in a chamber of horrors train-ride is simply par for the course in Comical Bones.

Oliver Platt is very sterling as a man trying to survive a narcissistic and insufferable father. Leslie Caron serene looks righteous although her contribution is minor, and Oliver Reed makes the most of a shrimp allotment. The surprise is Jerry Lewis. This is not the nasty, pseudo-retarded Jerry Lewis you’ve near to know and loathe through decades of sinister films. This is the Jerry Lewis you saw in King Of Comedy, another movie that looked unflinchingly at the relationship between comedy and hurt. He’s not on camera considerable, but every moment he is rings right and affirms the movie’s authenticity.

Wonderfully cracked, characters you have to treasure, extremely droll, well made. Don’t miss this one. And the first dog says….

Gunner February, 2008

I liked “Jackass” and I liked this unique one even better. What Johnny Knoxville and his merry band of idiots have done brilliantly is exercise this countries political correctness against them. They know what is amusing far better than the PC crowd. Terrorists, comical. Naked grandmas, laughable. People hurting themselves, laughable. For years we have been adding things to our “Not Amusing” list and thus eliminating them from our movies. That means that our multiplexes are filling up with toothless, light-hearted films masquerading as comedies. In an ad for this film a crowded theater filled with people captivating in uproarious laughter is showed. Then the ad asks when the last time was that you had an experience like that. My guess is that it wasn’t during “Rumor Has It,” or “Titanic Momma’s House 2,” or “Fair My Luck.” So the contrivance I look it the Jackass gang is reminding us what it’s like to laugh. Or build another draw, they’re bringing comical wait on.

That is not to say that all of their stunts are golden. Some, such as the medicine ball dodge ball, seem uninspired. Others were too considerable for me to handle. I could’ve lived without the leech on the eyeball, and the fish hook, and especially the horse milk. But without trying everything they may never have near across more hilarious ones such as the puppet note and the bungee jump. The best were the pranks with Spike Jonze as a naked grandma and Johnny Knoxville as a dreadful grandpa. The one where the unpleasant grandpa gets in a fight with a “hippie” over his parenting technique was divine. And I ask you, who is the staunch jackass in that stunt, Knoxville or the nosy pedestrian who is being Punk’d? I also reflect Knoxville should accept some credit for holding this film together. His flair for theatrics has gotten better since the novel, probably due to his movie star experiences. And that cackling laughter of his works the same arrangement as a laugh track on a sitcom. I mean if the guy with his arm in the occupy trap is having the time of his life then why aren’t you? I did feel at times that the directing was too polished. It should have been grittier so as not to nullify the injure these people were in.

If all uninteresting movies were as remarkable fun as this one I would never complain about the dumbing down of Hollywood. I can’t remember the last time 95 minutes went by so snappily. I do wonder if parents serene reflect video games are quite as evil as they primitive to. Support in the day playing outside meant tossing the football around with the neighbors. Today it means riding a shopping cart into a brick wall. I would never have the nerves of steel, or desire, to swim with sharks, but I had a blast watching these guys do it. Finally, I would like to officially place that I will be first in line as soon as they invent number 3 (whatever that means) . ***3/4

That being said, I highly recommend this movie to anyone with a slightly crooked sense of humor. The dialogue in the movie is idiotic…brilliantly idiotic. With lines such as:

You’ll definitely be laughing WITH the writers, not AT them.

And yes, the acting is dreadful, but that also adds to the fun of this version. There’s a reason they are called Porn stars instead of actors: they can’t act. But the hilarious dialogue paired with the monotone or somewhat awkward delivery is priceless. And some of the stars do a really broad job of camping it up and making fun of their occupy poor acting. It makes me believe of something a group of drunk friends would act out to entertain a crowd. I was laughing all the plot through. I deem this one will be sizable to explain at my next party. This is a straight to DVD movie of what happened between the 4 years they skipped over on the series finale. It will exhibit Sarah and Michael’s wedding, what happened to Gretchen and so forth. This will wrap up any questions and/or loose ends they left us with at the finale.

The previously not shown two hours of the TV demonstrate Prison Demolish were packaged as this film. It’s a final hurray for the 4-season long exhibit that started out strong and ran into “creative difficulties” at the kill. These two hours occupy in a few gaps that the series finale glanced over. This is definitely a movie for the die-hard fans, as there are character reveals and returning characters as well as the regulars acting in a predictable manner. This is not a stand-alone film. Anyone who has not been a fan of the present, even anyone who has skipped most of season 4, will not really understand what is going on in the storyline and why the leads are worth rooting for. My recommendation is to seek the series finale up to the “Four Years Later” sequence, then seeing Prison Break: The Final Demolish, then returning to the season finale and watching the last few minutes (the montage at the raze) . The storyline is thus complete and makes more sense as well as provides more canon and insight into the lives and storyline of each characters.

The film starts off with a young Harry Vardon who lives in an impoverished home and sees a group of men who is building a golf course in his station. But of course, the builders pay him no mind because golf is a sport for the famous.

The film then cuts to a young caddie named Francis Ouimet who lives across the street from the golf course. His father is a hardworking man but believes a man must work hard to pay the bills and his mother is supportive of his interest in golf. One day, the young Francis dreamed of meeting the celebrated UK golfer Harry Vardon. Harry is the first pro golfer to endorse a golf ball titled the “Vardon Flyer” made by Spalding and during his travels of promoting merchandise.

During a day of promotion, he gives young Francis a tip on how to fill a golf club (which would be known as the “Vardon Grip”) and it was Francis first major lesson and a moment that made Francis want to play golf.

The film then rapidly forwards to when he’s 20 years weak. He is an amateur competing at local tournaments.

During that time, golf was a game that was played by people who had money. They had sponsors and people from illustrious families. Francis was nether of those. His father in fact is not supportive of the golf because his son would be treated lower because he was not rich and as an amateur, he can’t do any money.

But there are rich people who know of Francis’s talent and so they give him the opportunity by sponsoring him. Despite the rich not favoring him because he’s a caddie that doesn’t belong to any renowned golfing country clubs.

So, Francis eventually gets ready for the tournaments but he loses his main caddie who is offered money to play (Francis has no money) . So, he enlists the back of his friend to be his caddie and his ten-year-old brother Eddie who tags a long.

It is also time for the 1913 U.S. Originate and although golf is known as a game dominated by the British, there are Americans who want to defend the US title and drawl to not have the British fetch at their home tournament (note: Since the first tournament in 1895 through 1910, the Europeans have won the U.S. Originate) . But the British champions Harry Vardon and Ted Ray know that they are the best in the world and search for forward to beating the Americans.

Francis will be playing the U.S. Initiate but is not considered a threat because of his set. In fact, his caddie gets caught for truancy and thus Francis is left with this ten-year-old boy Eddie Lowery who becomes his caddie for the U.S. Commence.

And the game begins…

“THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED” is an fascinating film that shows us how golf was assist then, how heated the rivalry was between the US and the UK but how a 20-year-old named Francis Ouimet, who is from a working class family would inspire Americans of different socio-economic class to luxuriate in golf and compose it become portion of America’s past-time.

VIDEO & AUDIO:

“THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED” is featured in 1080p High Definition (1:85:1) . There is quite a bit of detail that can be seen in the film. The grass, the dimples on the golf ball, the grain on the wooden shafts of the golf clubs and the clothing of the time. One thing that Bill Paxton wanted for the film was the colors to pop (he actually talks about what he wanted to effect in represent quality in his commentary) and discussed using the Kodachrome process. The greens, the blues, etc. But he also discusses, having to employ a process to eliminate grain because he did not want grain to be a major factor throughout the film. The blacks are very nice and deep. So, the characterize quality is actually quite solid. A very pleasurable looking film on Blu-ray!

As for the audio, the film is presented in English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio (and also in French and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital) . The film is primarily a dialogue-based film which utilizes music by Brian Tyler to space the mood. Both audio and music are quite definite as it comes from the front channels.

But there is very honorable exercise of the fronts and surrounds and also uncouth frequency during the U.S. Inaugurate. The crowds play a well-known factor in the film but also Bill Paxton wanted to reveal a different side of golf playing, so there is CG musty when the golf ball is hit and how it lands on the green or the grass. There is a lot of emphasis on when the golf ball is hit during the initial drive. You hear the sounds of the club swinging and then the pop as the ball is hit. So, for the game of golf, the crew were very pleasant in wanting to design the sounds of the game immersive for the viewer of the film and not stupid at all. Especially with husky golfer Ted Ray is supposed to hit the ball, you know that your speakers will procure a qualified workout.

As for subtitles, English SDH, French and Spanish is offered.

JUDGMENT CALL:

Although I play golf, I have to admit that I knew nothing about Francis Ouimet. Aside from him getting a US Postage Sign in dedication to him, I never realize his influence on the game of golf until now. Especially, the British golfer Harry Vardon and how different the game of golf was attend at that time.

“THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED” is definitely an inviting film and it was immense to witness the correlation between these two golfers.

Harry Vardon grew from an impoverished upbringing. How a group of men who built a golf course arrive his home treated him like he was a nobody because he wasn’t rich and ragged that to drive him to get and become one of the greatest golf players of all time. He has records that calm stand and he is known for the “Vardon Grip” which many golfers utilize as their main grip for holding a golf club. The winner of six British Initiate Championships, Vardon was known for playing in stylish suits while on the course.

Francis Ouimet came from a working class family and like Vardon, not treated well because he was simply a caddie and not from a well-known family or a member of any wealthy golf Country Club. But there were people who were supportive of his talent and gave him a chance to play at the Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. His glowing accumulate over the top British players at the 1913 US Commence made him the first amateur to catch the U.S. Commence (Note: The first American to secure the U.S. Inaugurate was John J. Mcdermott in 1911) and inspire many Americans to recall up golf. But most impressive that he never became a professional golfer and wanted to withhold his station as an amateur golfer for the rest of his career.

I also found the game of golf quite captivating assist then. I had no view that when two people had to assign. If a ball went in front of a person’s ball on the green, that the player unhurried the ball, calm had to establish. So, I found it intelligent to gawk Ouimet have to chip the ball over Vardon’s ball in order to sink a build. But most importantly, how heated the rivalry between the US and UK in terms of golf. Mainly, on the US side, due to the fact that the British were wining all the time.

So, I actually enjoyed watching “THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED” and learning about the history of golf but also finally luminous the significance Francis Ouimet had on the game of golf and why he is so highly regarded in the sport.

“Overall, “THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED” is fantastic sports film that I highly recommend!

I will begin by making determined everyone who reads this knows that I don’t play golf or gape it on TV. I’m also not a grand fan of Shia’s. With that out there I highly recommend this movie. It’s a huge period portion and the production and costumes are perfect for the time. The map the movie was filmed really is glorious to the eyes and the visual trick dilapidated for the device the golf ball goes through the air and down the fairways is fun to peer. The acting is top notch by the whole cast and Shia (who usually annoys me) is kept in check to the point that this is no doubt his best acting role…..that nobody knows about. This is a broad underdog memoir about someone who isn’t considered in the honest class of society to play “gentlemens” golf and really showing them that skill is what it is truly about and a esteem of the game.
